No. Service providers are not required to go through the NDIS registration process, however being a registered provider allows you to work with a broader range of clients.
If you are NDIS registered, you can work with all NDIS participants. However, if you are not NDIS registered, you can work with NDIS participants who plan manage or self manage their funding, but not the participants who are agency managed.
To ensure customers get value for money, the NDIS have set maximum prices for most services and products in their NDIS Price Guide. You will need to make sure your hourly rate (including GST) does not exceed the NDIS price limits.
A service agreement is a written contract between you and your client that describes the services you will provide, how much you will charge and other important info. Having a service agreement in writing provides clarity and ensures both you and your client are on the same page and it protects you both from any misunderstanding. It also allows us to set aside funds needed to cover your services.
Please address your invoice to the NDIS participant and email to invoices@healthyplanmanagement.au
